Another day has come, a new page to paint on.
When the sun rises above the horizon,
I would ponder if a new chapter will start
Where you and I will pen the rest of the pages.
But you’re not yet here, so maybe tomorrow.

I wonder when I’ll see your face. Is it today?
Will I bump into you through the busy streets?
How does your voice sound as you call my name?
Cobalt blue is taking over orange sunset
And you’re still not here. Then maybe tomorrow.

I keep my yearning in the corner of my heart,
Away from counterfeits and distractions.
To be awakened from sleep when the right time comes —
It won’t take that long for it is lingering,
Thinking that maybe tomorrow you’ll be here.

Maybe tomorrow I’ll get lost in your eyes
Or be enchanted by the warmth of your presence.
I might whisper a song while we walk down the road,
Can’t hide a flagrant smile as you hold my hand.
It’ll be the start of a lifetime saunter.

We’ll listen to our seemingly endless stories
And laugh about the little things we only knew.
Our hands will wipe away each others tears,
Stand by the other’s side through highs and lows.
Maybe tomorrow life will be filled with you.

Though my eagerness grows with each passing day,
My heart won’t cave in to the weight of waiting
For I am certain that you’re headed this way.
Until you’re here I’ll await for one more day.
Maybe tomorrow I’ll see you face to face.
